A grocer rolls out a new approach to their deli program in order to offer fresh product and a higher level of customer engagement.
Kroger's goal was to find a way for their Deli employees to spend more time engaging with customers and less time with their heads down preparing ready-made sandwiches. They partnered with local “fresh kitchens” to deliver high-quality fresh sandwiches, debuted a new labeling system, and implemented stocking and sampling procedures in order to maintain freshness. Life's Eyes Media produced an instructional/demonstration video to educate Kroger associates nationwide on the changes.
